DreamLight Verttice Purpose



Verttice™ is a fast paced computer game that exercises your intellect as well as your coordination .

We created Verttice entirely within MacroMedia Director to demonstrate how far we can push interactive multimedia. We programmed it in Director’s object oriented language called Lingo. We programmed all elements as intelligent objects that communicate with one another and the user.

Quickstart

Your goal is to contain the Laser light reaction.  
You must close all four sides through a delicate energy transfer.

First, sign in by entering your name in the Player Info (top right of 
the Verttice screen). Type your name followed by Return.

Start Verttice by pressing the Play button, which energizes the 
Laser Lattice and begins the reaction.

Photons will be generated by the Reactor Node. As each Photon 
emerges from the Reactor Node, it starts moving in a random 
direction and travels along the Laser beams. 

You must guide the Photon to an empty Power Node. 

The laser beams are bent by the Vert Nodes. To switch the direction 
of a beam, click the Vert Node at the intersection you wish to change.

When you fill all eight Power Nodes, you advance to the next Lattice.

When you complete six Lattices, you advance to the next Level.
